The exhibition at Park-Villa Rieter features paintings created more than 200 years ago. They show a striking degree of quality, subtlety and elegance.

Outside India, the Museum Rietberg ranks among the leading institutions when it comes to Indian painting, especially with regard to works of the Pahari tradition from the Himalayan foothills of northern India. The exhibition is in honour of Eva and Konrad Seitz who donated a substantial part of their collection of Indian art to the Museum. The paintings created more than 200 years ago exhibit a striking degree of quality, subtlety and elegance.
